US and Russia agree deal on Syria chemical weapons
 
The US and Russia have agreed on a framework for Syria to destroy all of its chemical weapons by the middle of 2014. John Kerry, US secretary of state and his Russian counterpart Sergei Lavrov, on Saturday unveiled a detailed timetable including a deadline for destruction of the stockpile, after three days of negotiation in Geneva.
